The World Bank has said that securing Indigenous People’s land rights is the most effective global use of climate funding. Donations secure land buybacks under Rights of Nature contracts and fund Global South lawyers who normally work pro-bono.

Indigenous Peoples are 6% of the population, 20% of the extreme poor, with less than 2% of the climate funding. Yet they guard 80% of the biodiversity and 30% of the intact planet. If you were Nature, who would you pay?
